About Tulamben Bay (Drift)
Tulamben Bay is located on the north coast of Bali and offers beautiful coral reefs and a variety of marine life. The bay is sheltered from the open ocean, making it a great spot for beginner divers. The depth of the bay ranges from 10-30 meters and the water temperature is a comfortable 27 degrees Celsius. Visibility is typically good, with 20-30 meters being common. The topology of the bay is mostly sandy with some areas of coral and rocks. The bay is also home to the USAT Liberty shipwreck, which is a popular dive spot. The difficulty level of the bay is beginner to intermediate, with some areas being more challenging than others. The dive season in Bali is year-round, with the best conditions occurring from April to October.
