PADI Tec Instructor (Bali)

PADI Tec Instructor training is designed to provide instructors with the skills and knowledge necessary to teach technical diving courses. The course covers topics such as dive theory, dive planning, dive equipment, and decompression theory. Upon completion of the course, instructors will be able to teach PADI Tec courses up to a depth of 100 metres.

The primary objectives of the PADI Tec Instructor course are to train instructors to:

– Understand the PADI Tec diving system and philosophy
– Be familiar with all aspects of PADI Tec diving, including equipment, gas mixes, decompression theory, and dive planning
– Be able to effectively teach and certify PADI Tec divers
– Be prepared to conduct PADI Tec instructor development courses

To become a PADI Tec Instructor, candidates must:

– Be a certified PADI Divemaster or Assistant Instructor, or hold a leadership level certification from another recreational diving organization

– Be a certified PADI Tec 45 Diver or hold a qualifying certification from another recreational diving organization

– Be a certified PADI Tec 50 Diver or hold a qualifying certification from another recreational diving organization

– Be a certified PADI Tec Trimix 65 Diver or hold a qualifying certification from another recreational diving organization

– Be a certified PADI Tec Deep Diver or hold a qualifying certification from another recreational diving organization

– Be a certified PADI Rebreather Diver or hold a qualifying certification from another recreational diving organization

– Be a certified PADI Gas Blender or hold a qualifying certification from another recreational diving organization

– Hold a current first aid and CPR certification

The PADI Tec Instructor course is designed to train instructors to teach technical diving courses up to the level of PADI Tec 45. The course includes both classroom and practical components, and covers topics such as gas blending, decompression theory, and dive planning. Upon successful completion of the course, instructors will be qualified to teach PADI Tec courses up to and including PADI Tec 45.

To successfully complete the PADI Tec Instructor course, candidates must:

– Be a PADI Instructor in good standing
– Be certified as a PADI Divemaster or have an equivalent certification from another training organization
– Be at least 18 years old
– Be medically fit for diving and submit a Medical Statement for Diving (PDF) signed by a physician within the last 12 months
– Have completed a PADI Tec 50 CCR or Tec 45 CCR dive within the last 12 months
– Have completed a PADI Tec Deep Instructor or Tec Trimix Instructor course
– Be certified as a PADI Enriched Air Instructor
– Have a current first aid and CPR certification
