SSI Mermaid Instructor Trainer (Bali) Components

The SSI Mermaid Instructor Trainer (Bali) course is designed to provide candidates with the skills and knowledge necessary to safely and effectively teach mermaid courses. The course is made up of four distinct components: classroom sessions, pool sessions, open water sessions, and an exam.

Classroom sessions cover topics such as mermaid anatomy and physiology, safety procedures, and teaching methods. Candidates will also learn about the SSI Mermaid Instructor rating system and how to use it to assess student progress.

Pool sessions focus on practical skills such as swimming techniques, rescue procedures, and how to effectively teach these skills to students. Candidates will also have the opportunity to practice their teaching skills in a safe and controlled environment.

Open water sessions provide candidates with the opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge in a real-world setting. Candidates will be required to teach a group of students in open water, and will be assessed on their ability to safely and effectively manage the group.

The final component of the course is an exam, which candidates must pass in order to earn their SSI Mermaid Instructor rating. The exam covers all of the topics covered in the course, and assesses a candidate’s ability to safely and effectively teach mermaid courses.
