Booties are recommended to have for doing shore dives in North Bali. You will be entering the waters via the pebble shores of Tulamben / Amed / Kubu.
Thicker wetsuits (5mm and above) are also recommended for diving at East Bali, Nusa Penida or Lembongan as the water temperatures can go as low as 18 degree celsius.
